SHAMPOO FOR JAM
Please remember our church is responsible for donating shampoo for Jeffersontown Area Ministries. Bring the shampoo to the church (gray container provided downstairs in the hallway) or you may take your donations directly to JAM. We thank you for your help as we understand the shampoo “shelves are bare” at Jeffersontown Area Ministries!
Heifer News
Gardener’s Gift Baskets contain tree seedlings, rabbits to generate organic manure, chickens to eat pests and a hive of bees to pollinate crops and increase yields. We now have $280.00 from the Heifer banks, enough to buy two of these gift baskets. Just as the garden grows, these will begin to grow as two family recipients pass on the first born and first fruit gifts of these sustainable gifts to their neighbors. They are $123.00 each, so there will be a “starter” (like dough!) in our banks of $34.00 as we think of our next gift through Heifer. Let us know if you have an idea. The Heifer banks are on the outreach table in front of the windows of the Cry room. If you give a person a fish, the person will eat for a day; if you give a person a fishing pole (if you teach a person to fish) the person will eat for a lifetime. Let’s be a part of the lifetime lifelines through our 7 cents a day offerings.

THANK YOU’S
Once again I send a special thanks to all of you for your cards, calls and prayers during my trying times. You were always there spreading sunshine all around me! There’s just no way to tell you how much it meant to me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Love,
June White
Thank you, thank you, thank you! How can I find enough words to thank you all, my church family, for all the kindnesses you bestowed on me and my family during Bill’s long illness and death. I know we never could have gotten through it all without your help. Thanks to all the folks who offered me rides so I could get to where I wanted to go. It is great to be loved by so many. Love and hugs to all.
Chris Attwood
Thank you for being a part of JAM’s 2012 Neighbors Helping Neighbors Charity Auction and Dinner. As a result of your generous participation, we raised $25,108.81!!!
Your donation of $100.00 to be a table sponsor, certainly added to the overall success of the event. We firmly believe that by uniting our energies and working together, we can and do make a difference in our community.
In Service,
